Crisply minimal in form but rendered in romantic hues, New Norm Plates are the backbone of the exceptional tableware collection from the Danish firm Menu and their fellow Copenhagen collaborators at the design house Norm Architects. In dinner, lunch and side plate sizes, they are rigorously produced in a state-of-the-art
European factory specializing in high-quality porcelain, with isostatic press technology to improve the china’s durability. There, all the designs are hand-glazed and fired twice at 1400 degrees for maximum longevity. Engineered for today’s time-stressed households, they are dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe. All in all, nearly 100 people are involved in the process of crafting each plate.
